What Makes Our CR3520/40 Chain Stand Out

  • Sealed & Lubricated (SALT) Design – Floating seals keep dirt out and oil in. Internal pin & bushing wear drops dramatically compared to dry chains – many customers report 30–50%longer life in abrasive conditions.
  • Forged 35MnB Links – Heat-treated to HB 360–400 core hardness, with pins and bushings induction-hardened to HRC 52–56. Tough enough for demolition debris and rocky soil, yet not brittle.
  • Master Link Included – Split-type for easy installation in the field without pressing tools.
  • Proven in the Real World – We’ve shipped these to US contractors running 953s on pipeline work, scrap yards, and municipal fleets.

KASU Track Chains Advantages

Our Company Advantage – Nearly 20 Years of Specialized Track Chain Expertise

With close to 20 years dedicated exclusively to researching, developing, and manufacturing sealed & lubricated track chains (and full undercarriage systems), we've built a reputation that matters most: trust from customers who run machines every day in tough conditions.

  • Deep Material & Process Knowledge

We've refined our forging, heat treatment, and assembly over thousands of production runs. Using premium 35MnB steel for links, precision induction-hardened pins & bushings (HRC 52–56), and high-reliability floating seals means lower internal wear rates and chains that hold up in abrasive demolition, landfill, or pipeline work — often matching or exceeding OEM life in real-world mixed applications.

  • Proven Track Record with Global Customers

Our chains are running on Caterpillar, Komatsu, and other track loaders/dozers in South America, Europe, Australia, and Africa. Fleet owners and independent operators keep reordering because the performance is consistent: reduced stretch, fewer seal failures, and extended roller/idler life — directly lowering your cost per hour.

  • In-House Control from Start to Finish

We handle forging, CNC machining, heat treatment, and final assembly in our own facility. No outsourcing surprises — every batch gets full hardness testing, tensile checks, and seal integrity verification. This vertical integration keeps quality tight and lets us respond quickly to custom needs, like specific link counts or enhanced sealing for wet/muddy environments.

  • Real Value Over Lowest Price

We're not chasing the cheapest imports. Instead, we focus on chains that deliver 4,500–6,500+ hours of reliable service in demanding jobs, backed by a 12-month / 2,000-hour warranty. Customers tell us the upfront savings vs genuine Cat, combined with longer intervals between replacements, makes the total ownership cost significantly lower.

KASU Factory Overview

Daily Maintenance Tips for 953 Track Chains

  • Check track sag every 50 hours (25–35 mm is ideal on a 953).
  • Clean packed mud from the chain daily – it grinds seals fast.
  • Grease the carrier rollers and idlers per Cat schedule.
  • If you ever see oil on the ground or a “flat” link, replace the chain immediately – one bad joint can destroy the whole undercarriage.
  • When installing a new chain, always adjust the recoil properly and torque shoe bolts to spec (use thread locker).

Why Choose KASU Track Chains

FAQ

Q: Is this a complete track group or just the chain?

A: Just the chain assembly (links, pins, bushings, seals, master link). Shoes are sold separately.

Q: Will this work with my existing shoes?

A: Yes – standard 5/8" bolt pattern matches original.

Q: Do you sell the matching rollers and idlers?

A: Yes – we carry full undercarriage kits for the 953. Ask us for a matched set quote.

We stock track chain to fit the smallest excavator to the largest D11N Cat Dozer. Track chains and track groups are available to fit all makes and models of excavators and dozers.Track chains are also available for other tracked machinery. Types of Dozer Track Chains – Dry Chains vs. Lubricated Chains When considering dozer track chains, there are two primary types: dry chains and lubricated chains. Dry chains have a lower initial cost compared to lubricated chains and are effective at keeping dirt and debris out, thereby reducing wear from contaminants. However, they require regular external lubrication to minimize wear, and without lubrication, the friction between pins and bushings can lead to faster wear. On the other hand, lubricated chains offer internal lubrication, which reduces friction and wear, resulting in a longer lifespan and lower maintenance compared to dry chains. They are ideal for heavy-duty applications where maintenance intervals are longer. The disadvantages of lubricated chains include a higher initial cost and the potential for seal failure over time, which can lead to the loss of internal lubrication. bulldozer undercarriage parts
Dozer Undercarriage Parts
Dozer undercarriage parts refer to the various components that make up the undercarriage system of a bulldozer, such as track chains, track shoes, sprockets, idlers, and rollers. These parts are crucial to the performance and durability of the bulldozer, as they support the weight of the machine, provide traction and stability, and enable it to move over various types of terrain. Regular inspection, maintenance, and timely replacement of worn or damaged undercarriage parts are essential to ensure the safety, efficiency, and longevity of the bulldozer.

Dozer track chains
Bulldozer Chain
Bulldozer chain is responsible for transmitting the power from the engine to the track, allowing the bulldozer to move forward and backward. It also helps to distribute the weight of the bulldozer evenly over the ground, providing stability and preventing sinking in soft terrain. Regular inspection and timely replacement of worn or damaged track chains is critical to ensure the safety, efficiency, and longevity of the bulldozer.

Front idler
Bulldozer Idler
A Bulldozer idler is an essential component of the undercarriage system on a bulldozer. It is located at the front of the track frame and guides the track chain in its rotating motion. The front idler consists of a frame, a shaft, and a set of idler wheels that support the track chain and maintain proper tension. The idler wheel is typically made of high-strength steel and features a wear-resistant surface to ensure durability and long service life. The front idler assembly is designed to withstand the rigors of heavy-duty construction and can be customized to fit different types and models of bulldozers. The reasons why the bulldozer idler require heat treatment processes include the following points: Improving Wear Resistance and Hardness: The idler experience friction against the track links during operation, so they need to possess high wear resistance and sufficient hardness to withstand prolonged wear and impact. Heat treatment methods, such as induction hardening, can significantly enhance the surface hardness and wear resistance of the idler wheels. Enhancing Mechanical Properties: Heat treatment not only increases the hardness of the material but also improves its fatigue resistance and toughness. This is particularly important for heavy machinery like bulldozers, which often operate under harsh working conditions and require materials that can withstand repeated loads and impacts. Optimizing Material Performance: Different heat treatment processes can be optimized for specific materials to achieve the best mechanical properties. For example, by adjusting the temperature and duration of quenching and tempering, the microstructure of the material can be controlled, resulting in better overall mechanical performance. Preventing Deformation and Cracking: Internal stresses may develop during the heat treatment process, potentially leading to deformation or cracking of the workpiece. An appropriate heat treatment program can help mitigate these risks, ensuring the dimensional stability and integrity of the workpiece.
